Jenison High School Varsity Falls in Back-And-Forth Affair Against Rockford
Jenison High School Varsity and Rockford played a tight game, but Rockford pulled out the 5-4 victory on Friday. The game was tied at three with Rockford batting in the top of the third when L Lanphear singled off of Kaitlin Johnson, driving in one run.
Rockford captured the lead in the first inning. W Card doubled on a 1-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Rockford took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third K Winkels singled off of Kaitlin Johnson, driving in one run.
J Davis earned the win for Rockford. She tossed five innings, giving up four runs, seven hits, striking out one, and walking one. Johnson took the loss for Jenison High School Varsity. She went three innings, giving up two runs, five hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Jenison High School Varsity Falls in Back-And-Forth Affair Against Rockford
Jenison High School Varsity and Rockford passed the lead back-and-forth on Friday, but eventually Rockford prevailed 11-8. The game was tied at eight with Rockford batting in the bottom of the fourth when L Lanphear doubled off of Kaitlin Johnson, driving in three runs.

Jenison High School Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. Emily Siler drove in one when she doubled in the first inning.
Jenison High School Varsity scored four runs in the second inning. Jenison High School Varsity scored on a fielder’s choice by Evelyn Blood, a single by Siler, and a walk.
Rockford scored six runs in the second inning. Rockford’s big inning was driven by a double by P Creasey, a single by L Guerra, a error, a single by W Card, and a groundout.

An early lead helped Jenison High School Varsity defeat Convent Christian 11-1 on Thursday. Jenison High School Varsity scored on a groundout by Addison Hansen and a single by Kaitlin Johnson in the first inning.

Jenison High School Varsity Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against East Kentwood
Jenison High School Varsity took the lead for good in the second inning to capture a back-and-forth game from East Kentwood by a 15-7 score on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with Jenison High School Varsity batting in the bottom of the second when Brianna Turmell singled off of A Fitzgerald, driving in two runs.
Jenison High School Varsity was boosted by Evelyn Blood who went 4-for-5 at the plate. Blood singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.
East Kentwood captured the lead in the first inning. A Reames doubled on a 0-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Jenison High School Varsity took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Emily Mouat singled off of A Fitzgerald, driving in one run and Addison Hansen singled off of Fitzgerald, driving in one run.
Jenison High School Varsity scored five runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Brianna Turmell, a single by Hansen, and a double by Kaitlin Johnson.
